guess what?!?!!

oh gosh, you'll never guess. i mean, how would you know??

this THURSDAY is our 5th ANNIVERSARY

("our" being mine and my man-half, of course.)

it's the first big one, you know what i mean!?!

and saturday, last saturday, like may 1st saturday

when i walked in the door from a shoot

case (my man-half) said,

"you want your present now???"

cause, you see, we're really not good at the whole

S U R P R I S E !!

thing.

(it's a miracle that we wait 'til the 25th for Christmas.)

so i said no.

he said yes.

i said maybe.

he said yes.

and next thing i knew i was holding a new camera!

complete shocker. i was just hoping for a watch.

mother's day is important.

we want to be pampered. we want the day off. we want dishes done. meals cooked. faces wiped. laundry folded. children sleeping.

all without lifting a single manicured nail.
